During a visit to India, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held talks with Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana. The meeting participants discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and India in the fields of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, investments, and industrial development.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and the state of Telangana, which is considered one of the largest centers of the Indian pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Sardor Rustambaev also took part in the negotiations.
During the meeting, the Indian side was invited to participate in the International Investment Forum, which will be held in Uzbekistan. Following the talks, the parties confirmed their interest in developing bilateral relations and implementing new joint projects in priority areas of economy and industry.
