Uzbekistan and China's Shaanxi Non-ferrous Metals Expand Cooperation on Critical Minerals

The parties signed a memorandum on joint mining, processing, and scientific research

The Uzbek Technological Metals Plant and the Chinese corporation Shaanxi Non-ferrous Metals Holding Group have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the extraction and deep processing of strategically important minerals.

The document provides for joint geological exploration, field development, technology transfer, scientific research, personnel training, and the implementation of investment projects.

The implementation of the agreement will allow Uzbekistan to strengthen its position in the production of critical minerals, expand international partnerships, and increase the output of high value-added products.

Shaanxi Non-ferrous Metals Holding Group manages more than 30 enterprises with over 40,000 employees and is a world leader in molybdenum and titanium mining. Among its assets are Jinduicheng Molybdenum and Baoti Group, which produce materials for the aerospace and industrial sectors.
