In Uzbekistan, the level of mobile phone usage has practically reached its absolute maximum. By the end of 2025, the share of users reached 99.3% of the population aged 10 and older. This is evidenced by data from the National Statistics Committee, based on sample household surveys.
Statistics show that the indicator continues to gradually grow: back in 2021, 95.7% of citizens used mobile phones, in 2022 – 97.8%, and in 2023–2024, the level had already stabilized at 99.1%. Thus, in a few years, the country has practically achieved full mobile coverage for its population.
The 0.2 percentage point increase over the past year may seem small, but it confirms the trend towards final market saturation. Mobile phones have become an everyday tool for the vast majority of the country's residents, and any further increase in the indicator will occur within the limits of statistical error.
