As part of the V Tashkent International Investment Forum, a delegation from Andijan region held talks with representatives of China CAMCE International. The main topic of the meeting was the development of the region's communal infrastructure and attracting foreign investment into key sectors.
The parties discussed potential projects for the construction of modern water supply and sewerage systems in cities and densely populated areas of Andijan region. The acceleration of initiatives for waste processing and improving the environmental situation, as well as increasing the availability of clean drinking water for the population, was also specifically addressed.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to begin practical development of joint projects and continue a detailed study of priority areas. Regional authorities note that such initiatives are considered an important step towards modernizing infrastructure, improving the quality of life, and attracting investment into the regional economy.
