Representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan held an extended meeting with resident companies to form a package of proposals for the sixth meeting of the President with entrepreneurs. Business requests and measures for the development of the IT industry and improvement of the business environment were discussed.
The key topic was the Enterprise Uzbekistan program and companies' expectations from its launch. Measures to attract foreign specialists were separately considered: simplifying the issuance of IT Visas, processing IT Cards, and extending their validity periods to facilitate recruitment and relocation of personnel.
Businesses proposed expanding the Zero Risk program to include compensation for online training and course costs. GPU clusters, local production of electronic boards, development of data infrastructure, and expanded access to international cloud services and computing power for startups were also discussed.
