Uzbekistan will carry out a large-scale indexation of social payments and population incomes starting from July 1 and September 1, 2026. The decision is enshrined in a decree by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to the document, pensions and benefits, including payments to families registered in the “Social Register,” will increase by 7% from July 1. The minimum old-age pension will be 983,000 soums, and the disability pension will be 1,083,000 soums per month.
Child benefits are also increasing: payments for children under 3 years old are set at 386,000 soums, and for children from 3 to 18 years old – 295,000 soums. Additional payments are provided for families with several children, and monthly financial assistance will increase to 450,000 soums.
Separately, a new base value for calculating pensions is introduced – 504,000 soums, which will be used in the system of accruals and recalculations of social payments.
From September 1, 2026, salaries for public sector employees and scholarships will also increase by 7%. The minimum wage is set at 1,360,000 soums, and the basic estimated value is 440,000 soums.
