Uzbekistan and MBK Holding Agree to Expand Cooperation in AI

The parties discussed investments, digital infrastructure, and specialist training

Uzbekistan and the Qatari company MBK Holding discussed expanding partnership in artificial intelligence and digital technologies. The negotiations were held with the participation of the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and the holding's management.

The main focus was on the development of AI infrastructure, attracting investments, and training personnel. The parties are considering the possibility of transforming Uzbekistan into one of the key regional centers for digital development in Central Asia and CIS countries.

Separately, the implementation of AI-based solutions in healthcare, education, and public administration was discussed. The creation of new jobs and the involvement of young specialists in international projects were also addressed.

In addition, the parties touched upon issues of commercializing scientific developments and bringing innovative products to foreign markets. Within the framework of the dialogue, prospects for creating joint ventures, supporting startups, and forming a sustainable innovation ecosystem were considered.
