FESCO is strengthening the logistics corridor between China and Central Asia by launching a new container rail service that accelerates deliveries to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan via the key border crossings of Dostyk and Altynkol. The first train with light industry goods has already departed from Xi'an and arrived in Tashkent at Chukursay station, demonstrating a transit time of approximately 14 days.
The new product is aimed at a wide range of cargo – from consumer goods and industrial products to equipment, components, and other container shipments. In fact, it involves the formation of a more flexible and regular route between China's largest production centers and the markets of Central Asia.
FESCO notes that the development of this direction is linked to the strategy of strengthening its presence in the region. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are considered key growth markets, and the network of its own offices and representative offices in China allows for the construction of end-to-end logistics chains.
Additionally, the group is expanding its infrastructure in the PRC, including the launch of a new office in Chengdu, which will focus on developing container rail transportation between China, Russia, Belarus, and Central Asian countries.
