Fountain in New Tashkent sets two Guinness World Records at once

The musical fountain, 232.69 meters high, became the tallest in the world

The musical fountain in New Tashkent has officially received two Guinness World Records. The complex was recognized as the tallest open-air musical fountain in the world, reaching a height of 232.69 meters. Thus, it surpassed the previous record of 204.7 meters set by a fountain in China's Jiangsu province.

The second record is related to the circular water screen on which images are projected. Its area is 2617.23 square meters, exceeding the previous record of 2400 square meters. Official certificates for the two world achievements were presented by Guinness World Records judge Maggie Luo.

The project of the fountain complex in New Tashkent was presented to the President of Uzbekistan in March 2026. Now, this large-scale attraction has entered the Guinness Book of Records in two categories.
