In Uzbekistan, 263,731 passenger cars were produced from January to July 2026, compared to 241,109 vehicles in the same period last year. Thus, overall output increased by 9.4%. The production of specialized passenger cars rose by 12.1% to 32,445 units.
The most impressive dynamics were recorded by BYD. In seven months, local production of cars of this brand more than doubled – by 106.6%, to 17,765 vehicles, compared to 8,601 cars a year earlier.

Other manufacturers also saw growth. KIA's output increased by 18.8% to 17,125 vehicles, Haval's by 30.6% to 5,778 vehicles, and Onix's by 9.1% to 20,445 units. Cobalt remains the leader in absolute production volume with 91,140 vehicles, a 9.6% increase over last year's figure.
At the same time, Damas production decreased by 7.9% to 47,521 vehicles, Tracker by 2.3% to 25,779, and Chery by 0.8% to 4,801 vehicles. In addition, the production of Chevrolet Damas Move began in the country – 932 vehicles of this version were produced in the first seven months.
