30 new ZHONGTONG buses, purchased by "Bunyod yo‘lovchi tashish" company, have been delivered to the Khorezm region. With this delivery, the total number of new buses received by the region since the beginning of 2026 has reached 90 units. The vehicles are planned to be deployed on Urgench's internal routes in the coming days.
Transportation on the new buses will be organized based on a gross contract. The renewal of the rolling stock is being carried out as part of the public transport development program in the regions of Uzbekistan. The authorities expect this to improve the quality of passenger transportation and modernize the bus fleet.
It is expected that the new buses will make journeys more comfortable and safer for residents, improve passenger service, and increase the efficiency of Urgench's public transport.
