IT Park Uzbekistan and East Telecom discussed joint projects for developing artificial intelligence infrastructure, training specialists, and supporting technology startups. The negotiations were conducted by Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Park Se-joo, head of East Telecom. One of the key topics was the development of data centers in Uzbekistan, considering the growing demands of AI systems. The parties reviewed modern solutions for power supply, cooling, and management of such infrastructure.

Special attention was paid to personnel training. Uzbek specialists and startups may be granted access to the AI Certification program organized by KT Corporation, East Telecom's parent company. It covers areas such as Physical AI, AI agents, cloud technologies, and digital transformation. This approach is expected to help develop specialists in the country capable of working with modern AI tools and infrastructure.

In addition, the parties discussed the participation of Uzbek technology companies in KT Corporation's K-PATH 2027 program. Promising startups will be able to apply for participation in Startup Acceleration and Open Innovation programs, receive KT expertise, and establish contacts with international corporate partners. IT Park expects that cooperation with East Telecom and KT will simultaneously develop Uzbekistan's AI infrastructure, human resources, and the entry of local technology companies into the international market.
