IT Park Uzbekistan and the Serbian company SEE UP have agreed to develop ties between the startup ecosystems of the two countries. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the parties on September 3 in Belgrade after a meeting between the IT Park delegation and SEE UP DOO CEO Dušan Obradović. The document creates a basis for the international scaling of startups and the launch of joint initiatives.
One of the main directions will be the mutual promotion of companies in the markets of the two countries. Uzbek startups will be assisted in exploring opportunities in Serbia, while Serbian projects will be offered to consider Uzbekistan as a platform for entering the Central Asian market. The partners also intend to exchange information on acceleration programs and facilitate the participation of startups in relevant initiatives.
In addition, IT Park Uzbekistan and SEE UP plan to hold joint forums, webinars, and business missions, as well as develop cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, educational projects, and research and development. A separate area is contacts between venture funds, business angels, and corporate investors. The parties expect to exchange information on investment opportunities and help promising projects find international partners.
