Centrum Air will begin operating regular flights on the Tashkent–Hyderabad–Tashkent route from September 28, 2026. Flights will take place twice a week on Airbus A320neo aircraft. Hyderabad will be the second city in India in the carrier's route network after New Delhi.
The presentation of the new destination took place in Hyderabad with the participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, representatives of Centrum Air, and over 120 representatives of the tourism and business communities of both countries. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, Sardor Rustambaev, noted that the launch of direct air communication was a practical result of agreements reached during the visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Tashkent on August 29–30.
During the event, the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, its hotel infrastructure, and recreation areas were presented to Indian partners. Over the past five to six years, the number of tourists from India visiting Uzbekistan has increased several times. Following the presentation, bilateral B2B negotiations took place, as a result of which Indian companies expressed interest in further expanding cooperation with Uzbek businesses and agreed on new joint projects.
