French technology company LINAGORA is exploring the possibility of relocating part of its development to Uzbekistan and establishing a regional center in the country. This center could focus on developing and supplying software solutions to the markets of Central Asia and the CIS. The matter was discussed at a meeting between representatives of Uzbekistan and the company's founder and president, Alexandre Zapolsky, in Paris.

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan spoke about the country's human resources potential, cost structure, and the capabilities of the local IT ecosystem. The parties also discussed available support measures and the conditions for obtaining resident status at IT Park Uzbekistan. The potential project could involve relocating part of the development and creating new high-tech jobs.

Special attention was paid to digital sovereignty, open-source, and artificial intelligence. Uzbekistan may consider implementing LINAGORA Twake Workplace and LinShare solutions, as well as open AI models within the OpenLLM Europe initiative, including LUCIE. The company also develops OSSA – a framework with over 500 open-source packages.
