A representative office of IT Park Uzbekistan has opened in Seongnam, South Korea, established jointly with the Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN). The platform is located in the Pangyo Technovalley technology cluster and will focus on developing contacts between companies and startups from both countries. One of its tasks will be to facilitate the entry of technology businesses into the markets of Uzbekistan and South Korea.
The representative office will serve as a point of interaction for IT Park Uzbekistan with Korean technology companies, investors, and participants in the innovation ecosystem. Daniyar Atajanov has been appointed as the official representative of IT Park Uzbekistan in South Korea. During the opening, the parties also discussed support for startups and opportunities to expand international cooperation.
IT Park Uzbekistan and GDIN signed a memorandum of understanding. The document provides for the creation of joint ventures, programs for companies to enter foreign markets, startup exchange, and the launch of pilot projects. Artificial intelligence and research and development areas are specifically highlighted. In addition, IT Park Uzbekistan will join the GDIN partner network.
