Uzbekistan and the British company AREMCA discussed prospects for cooperation in geology and mining. The meeting between the First Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology, Feruza Khamidova, and company representatives took place on September 15. The parties considered opportunities for implementing modern technologies in the industry.
AREMCA representatives presented projects that the company is implementing in Central Asian countries. One of the key topics was the application of artificial intelligence for analyzing large volumes of geological data, identifying promising areas, and increasing the efficiency of mining operations. Technological solutions for the further development of the industry were also discussed.
Ministry representatives informed the British company about the procedure for obtaining the right to use subsoil through auctions, existing online systems, and new requirements of Uzbekistan's legislation. In conclusion, the parties discussed further technological cooperation and the training of specialists necessary for implementing modern solutions in geology and mining.
