The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan discussed with Alexis Rehov, CEO of Bouygues Bâtiment International for Central Asia, prospects for cooperation in digital infrastructure and data centers. Representatives of the French company were informed about the working conditions for foreign investors, available investment opportunities, and existing benefits.
The main focus of the meeting was on potential projects for the creation and development of data centers. The parties held a preliminary exchange of views on technical and organizational issues related to the possible implementation of such initiatives in Uzbekistan.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to maintain a constant working dialogue and jointly develop promising projects. Specific investment parameters, implementation timelines, and characteristics of future facilities have not yet been disclosed.
