IT Park Uzbekistan and the Japanese company 01Booster have agreed to launch a program to bring Uzbek startups and IT companies to the Japanese market. The practical phase of the project is planned to begin in Q4 2026. The parties are already developing a special market-entry program that will help companies adapt their products to the requirements of the Japanese market.
The partnership involves establishing contacts with Japanese corporations and investors, project acceleration, and support for their further international scaling. It also plans to promote Uzbek products in Japan, hold joint forums, and Demo Days. Earlier this year, IT Park and 01Booster already organized a Go-to-Market webinar for companies interested in entering the Japanese market.
Separately, the parties discussed the possibility of establishing a 01Booster venture fund in Uzbekistan. It is assumed that such a structure will expand local startups' access to Japanese capital and corporate partners. 01Booster has been operating since 2013 and specializes in acceleration, venture investments, and corporate innovation programs.
The new initiative should become another channel for the international promotion of Uzbek IT companies and strengthen cooperation between the startup ecosystems of Uzbekistan and Japan.
