IT Park Uzbekistan and High Technologies Park Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026. The parties intend to help IT companies and startups from both countries enter new markets, integrate into local technological ecosystems, and launch businesses abroad.
One of the directions will be the participation of Uzbek startups in the NEXUS program with the support of High Technologies Park Azerbaijan. In response, IT Park Uzbekistan will invite Azerbaijani projects to the Land of Startups program, which is scheduled to launch in 2027. It will be designed for international founders and will help them develop businesses in Uzbekistan and find new market opportunities.
The memorandum also provides for cooperation in the field of foreign market entry programs, technology transfer, and commercialization of developments. Companies will be able to count on infrastructure support, expert knowledge, and assistance in integrating into the technological ecosystems of both countries.
It is expected that the partnership will expand interaction between startups, technology companies, and investors from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and will also create additional opportunities for international scaling of projects.
