Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey have signed a memorandum on expanding cooperation between technological and innovative ecosystems. The document was concluded in Tashkent as part of the first Technology Forum of the Organization of Turkic States, held during ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026.
The countries intend to strengthen ties between technoparks, exchange experience, and support innovative projects, including when technology companies enter the markets of other OTS states. The forum is now planned to be held annually, alternately in one of the organization's countries. Heads of technology and innovation centers will also regularly meet to discuss joint initiatives.
A separate agreement was signed by IT Park Ventures and Turkish Bilişim Vadisi. The parties agreed to exchange information on promising startups and investment opportunities, jointly review deals, and help companies scale. The soft landing principle is also envisioned: Uzbek projects will be able to receive support when entering Turkey through the Terminal İstanbul ecosystem, and Turkish startups – when entering the Uzbek market.
In addition, IT Park Ventures and Bilişim Vadisi plan to hold meetings with investors, pitch sessions, and Demo Days, as well as launch joint acceleration programs. Bilişim Vadisi unites more than 900 companies and over 8,000 specialists working in research and development.
