Cargo airline SolitAir has expanded its route network by adding Tashkent International Airport and Navoi International Airport. The new destinations connect Uzbekistan with Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai, which is the carrier's base. The company expects this to meet the growing demand for perishable cargo transportation.
Before entering the Uzbek market, SolitAir already operated cargo flights to Bishkek, Almaty, and Astana. In the first half of 2026, 57,200 tons of cargo were handled at Uzbekistan's airports. The company notes that the country is becoming an increasingly significant hub for regional air transportation.
After the expansion, SolitAir's network includes more than 60 destinations in over 40 countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe. The carrier operates seven Boeing 737-800 freighters with a payload capacity of up to 20 tons each and plans to increase its fleet to 20 aircraft by the end of 2027.
The company also expects to strengthen cargo traffic between the Global South countries and Europe and support the development of Uzbekistan as a Eurasian transport hub.
