Cobalt became the most produced passenger car model in Uzbekistan based on the results of 2020–2026, considering data for January–July of the current year. Previously, Nexia and Nexia 3 held the first place in terms of production volumes at different periods.
According to the National Committee on Statistics, 263,731 passenger cars were produced in the country in the seven months of 2026. Cobalt accounted for 91,140 cars. Damas was second in terms of production volume with 47,521 vehicles, and Tracker was third with 25,779 units.
In 2025, factories produced 161,152 Cobalts, 93,681 Damas, and 50,362 Trackers. In 2024, the figures were 164,887, 101,912, and 45,918 cars, respectively. In 2023, Cobalt also led with 118,093 cars against 89,154 Damas and 82,133 Gentra. In 2022, 101,617 units of the model were produced.
Cobalt's leadership was maintained earlier as well: in 2021, 71,082 cars were produced, and in 2020 — 79,908. Before that, the leadership more often went to other models. In 2019 and 2018, Nexia 3 was produced the most — 73,151 and 59,343 cars, respectively. In 2017, Nexia 3 led with 34,544 cars, in 2016 — Nexia with 19,018. In 2015, Nexia was also first with 47,224 cars. In 2014 and 2013, leadership returned to Cobalt — 61,189 and 60,412 cars, respectively. In 2010–2012, the maximum production volumes were for Nexia — from 83,573 to 87,100 cars per year.
