SaferZone wants to turn Uzbekistan into a cybersecurity and data center hub

The South Korean company is exploring the creation of a local structure and a data center with the possibility of further expansion into Central Asian markets

South Korean SaferZone is considering Uzbekistan as a regional platform for developing cybersecurity and data center infrastructure. On the sidelines of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, company representatives discussed with IT Park Uzbekistan the prospects for localizing the business and further scaling solutions to Central Asian markets.

Following the meeting, IT Park Uzbekistan and SaferZone signed a memorandum of understanding. The parties plan to explore the possibility of establishing a local company and a data center in the country. It is assumed that the facility will be able to provide colocation services, cloud and computing resources, as well as information security solutions for IT Park residents and other companies.
