Over 200 Entrepreneurs in Fergana Trained in Wildberries Sales

The workshop helped local businesses understand how to launch a store on the marketplace, register as a seller, and use scaling tools

More than 200 entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and sellers from Fergana region participated in a two-day Wildberries workshop titled 'How to Sell on Wildberries: Start and Growth.' The event took place on October 5-6 as part of the III Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan. Participants learned about the marketplace's capabilities and the main steps to get started on the platform.

Separate sessions were dedicated to seller registration, creating a personal account, and launching initial sales. Entrepreneurs were also introduced to tools for further business development and scaling. According to Akmal Primkulov, Wildberries Director in Uzbekistan, the company is interested in supporting regional entrepreneurs and developing e-commerce in the country.

The honored guest of the workshop was Vsevolod Vovchenko, Deputy Director of the Department for Economic Cooperation with CIS Countries at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development. He highlighted the work of the PRO WB Business Development and Support Center, thanks to which over 5,000 entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan have already gained knowledge in e-commerce. At the end of the meeting, participants were able to ask questions to Wildberries representatives and receive recommendations on working with the platform.
