MyID from Uzbekistan passed international test for protection against identity spoofing

The biometric system UZINFOCOM successfully passed iBeta Level 2 tests according to ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard and blocked all tested attacks

The biometric verification system MyID, developed by UZINFOCOM, successfully passed independent testing by the American laboratory iBeta Quality Assurance for compliance with the ISO/IEC 30107-3 Level 2 standard. The tests checked the technology's ability to recognize attempts at identity spoofing using various fake facial artifacts.

According to the test results, all used attack methods were prevented, while real users continued to successfully pass the verification procedure. Thus, the tests confirmed MyID's resistance to tested biometric data spoofing scenarios.

UZINFOCOM stated that MyID became the only solution developed in Central Asia to pass iBeta Level 2. iBeta Quality Assurance laboratory is accredited by NIST/NVLAP and specializes in testing biometric technologies. The results of such tests are taken into account by technology companies, financial organizations, and regulators when assessing the reliability of biometric identification systems.
