Uzbekistan Airports and Krasnoyarsk Airport are discussing expanding the route network, including new direct destinations and connecting routes via Uzbekistan to Turkey, Israel, UAE, cities in the Russian Far East, and China.

The negotiations were held with the participation of Kirill Ermakov, General Director of Dmitry Hvorostovsky International Airport Krasnoyarsk. The parties continued the dialogue initiated at the Russian-Uzbek forum in Fergana and considered ways to attract airlines to launch new flights.

Among the priority destinations are the routes Krasnoyarsk — Fergana and Krasnoyarsk — Samarkand. In addition to direct flights, the meeting participants discussed the development of transit traffic: through Fergana, passengers can expect connections to Istanbul, and through Samarkand — to Tel Aviv and Dubai. Krasnoyarsk, in turn, can become a transfer hub for travel from Uzbekistan to the Russian Far East and China.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to jointly work on promising routes and opportunities to attract carriers. It is also planned to launch marketing initiatives involving airlines and tourism companies to promote new destinations, develop tourist offers, and increase passenger traffic. Specific dates for launching flights have not yet been announced.
