Uzum Market marketplace has begun to gradually resume operations after a technical malfunction that occurred during the testing of new infrastructure before the high-demand season. The company will compensate partners for losses and provide customers with promo codes.
The warehouse has already started assembling orders and will soon resume accepting goods according to waybills for October 7, 8, and 9. Pickup points across the country continue to serve customers: purchases can be received using a code from an SMS or the recipient's name. At points where such an option is available, sellers can also transfer goods for delivery to the warehouse. In addition, order storage periods have been extended.
Full restoration of the website, mobile application, and seller personal accounts is not yet complete. The company will announce the timing of all services returning to normal operation separately. Uzum assured that user data and partner information are protected and processed in accordance with the requirements of Uzbekistan's legislation and cybersecurity rules.
As compensation, owners of franchise pickup points will be reimbursed for lost profits. For sellers, logistics and storage of goods will be free until the end of October. Customers who could not pick up orders due to the malfunction will receive promo codes for future purchases. The company apologized for the inconvenience.
