The plant produces BYD Song Plus Champion DM-i hybrid crossovers and Chazor DM-i sedans using a full cycle, while the Yuan Up is assembled using a large-node method. The company has requested an additional 60 hectares of land and is considering building a second plant for 150,000 cars per year. More than 100 robots work in the welding shop, and automated systems are also used in painting, assembly, and quality control of car bodies.

Kazakhstan remains the main export market for now, where more than 3,000 cars were sold last year. The company is also exploring opportunities for deliveries to Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and Georgia. In 2026, BYD intends to localize the production of 100 types of parts, which should reduce import costs by $714 for Song Plus, $793 for Chazor, and an average of $2,000 for Yuan Up. After the production expansion, up to 10,000 jobs could be created at the enterprise.uzdaily.uz
