On October 27, IT Park Uzbekistan presented a model for the development of the national IT industry at the Uzbekistan – Austria business forum. Representatives of government agencies, investment organizations, and international business were briefed on the conditions for obtaining IT Park resident status, tax incentives, and opportunities for running a technology business in the country.
The event was attended by representatives of relevant Uzbek government agencies, the Global Neighbours organization, and companies BrainsToVentures, ecotel communication, Tele Columbus, and GOODRAM/Wilk Elektronik. The program included presentations and negotiations in B2B and G2B formats. One of the key topics was expanding technological cooperation, attracting foreign investors, and developing the export of digital solutions.
IT Park Export Development Director Jakhongir Kagirov spoke about Uzbekistan’s opportunities in the international market for technology and business services. He highlighted talent potential, infrastructure, and support measures for foreign companies. The cooperation envisions not only launching Austrian projects in Uzbekistan, but also expanding access for local IT providers to European clients.
