In January–September 2026, industrial production in Uzbekistan increased by 8.1% year-on-year, reaching 1,085.7 trillion soums. Jizzakh Region demonstrated the highest growth rate among the regions, where output grew by 13.1%. Such data is provided by the country’s Ministry of Economy and Finance. The region’s figure turned out to be 5 percentage points higher than the national average.

The top five fastest-growing regions also included Samarkand Region with a result of 9.5%, Namangan Region with 9%, Bukhara Region with 8.7%, and Surkhandarya Region with 8.6%. Thus, all regions in the top five developed faster than the national average. At the same time, leadership in growth rates does not mean primacy in absolute output volume.
Among the listed regions, Samarkand produced the most industrial goods, totaling 60.218 trillion soums. In Bukhara Region, the figure was 46.339 trillion soums, in Namangan Region—40.31 trillion, and in Jizzakh Region—37.9724 trillion soums. The lowest volume among the five regions was recorded in Surkhandarya Region at 22.552 trillion soums.
