Scammers are sending fake parking fines in Uzbekistan on behalf of Poytaxt Parking

Residents are warned about dangerous links to pay nonexistent debts.

Poytaxt Parking has warned Tashkent residents about fraudulent SMS messages being sent on its behalf. The messages notify recipients of allegedly unpaid parking and prompt them to settle the debt by following an attached link. The company emphasized that it does not send notifications demanding parking fee payments via third-party websites.

Checking for outstanding debts and payment status is only possible through the official Poytaxt Parking app. Users are advised not to follow links from suspicious messages and not to enter bank card details or vehicle license plate numbers on unfamiliar websites. Received SMS messages should be deleted without attempting to pay the stated amount.

If a user has already entered bank card details on a fraudulent website, they must immediately contact their bank and block the card. This will help prevent potential unauthorized deductions of funds. The company urged residents to exercise caution and rely exclusively on official channels to verify parking payments.
