In the draft strategy "Uzbekistan - 2030," national cinematography received a large-scale plan to enter the world stage. The main goal is to make Uzbek cinema competitive not only within the country, but also among the international audience. One of the key steps will be the placement of films on the ten largest Internet platforms in the world, which will ensure the availability of content for viewers in different countries.
In the period 2024-2030, it is planned to implement 50 large film projects dedicated to the history of statehood, cultural and spiritual heritage of the country. These films will be shown at international film festivals and TV channels. At the same time, the strategy includes the production of 59 animated films in order to convey national values and images of heroes to the younger generation through modern formats.
To promote Uzbek cinema abroad, the participation of 54 national films in festivals, attracting investments of up to $2.5 million, and increasing exports of film products to $10 million are provided. In addition, films on military-patriotic themes and works on the Jadid movement are planned, which will strengthen the socio-educational potential of the industry and increase the quality and volume of national film production.
