The automotive industry is actively developing in the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan: a new automobile plant produces models of Hyundai, ShineRay and the Chinese company Exceed. The capacity allows producing 20-25 thousand cars per year, more than 200 jobs have been created. Among the new products is the Bullion minibus with a potential of up to 1.5 thousand units per month.
The project is being implemented in two stages: the first with investments of $50 million has been completed, the second has already been launched. A full-cycle plant with welding, painting and assembly shops is being built on the territory of the free economic zone. The launch of the second stage worth $120 million is planned from July 2026, with the production of cars of the Shinrai, Bullion, Hyundai and Opel brands.
Representatives of the enterprise note that the project increases the industrial production of the region, provides employment, develops local personnel and strengthens investment attractiveness. Demand for cars is expected both in the domestic and export markets, and the plant team adheres to strict quality standards at all stages of production.
