From February 1, 2026, tariffs for travel on Afrosiyob high-speed electric trains will increase in Uzbekistan. According to JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari", the cost of tickets will increase by 15%. The decision is explained by the increase in costs for maintenance of rolling stock, spare parts, electricity and operation, as well as the need to maintain a high level of safety and modernize infrastructure according to international standards.
After the price revision, a ticket for the Tashkent – Bukhara route will cost 1,138,000 soums in VIP class, 760,000 soums in business class and 509,000 soums in economy. On the Tashkent – Karshi route, prices will be 976,000, 642,000 and 429,000 soums, respectively, and between Tashkent and Samarkand — 709,000 soums for VIP, 455,000 soums for business and 311,000 soums for economy class.
At the same time, tariffs for travel on the Shark, Nasaf and Uzbekistan passenger trains will also increase by 15%. The company emphasizes that the increase is being carried out as part of the reform of the railway industry and a phased abandonment of state regulation of prices for transportation in high-speed and high-speed trains with a transition to market principles of tariff formation.
