In Bukhara, from February 1, 2026, buses will begin a phased transition to non-cash payment. Initially, the system will work on seven routes, and from April 1 it will be implemented on all other routes. From this moment on, tickets can only be paid for electronically.
The khokim of the region signed a decree according to which, within a month, the city authorities must organize the installation of automated information kiosks for the sale of electronic tickets at bus stops.
In addition, the transport department will ensure that all buses are equipped with validators, and the payment system through the ATTO platform will be under constant monitoring to ensure that the transition to a non-cash format goes as smoothly as possible.
