Access to personal data in the OneID system restricted in Uzbekistan

It needs to be enabled manually

The Electronic Government Center announced that the transfer of personal data to third-party organizations is now restricted by default in the OneID system. Users must decide for themselves who to grant access to — banks, insurance, telecommunications and other companies.

Earlier, reports appeared online that banks were allegedly prohibited from issuing loans, and the ability to apply for online microloans disappeared in mobile applications. The EGC explained that this is due to the new personal data access setting, and not to a ban on lending.

To manage access, you need to log in to the id.egov.uz website via OneID, go to the "Personal Data Management" section and, using an electronic digital signature or Mobile-ID, open or close the "lock" icon next to the desired organization. Through the OneID Mobile mobile application (Android, iOS), management is activated automatically when logging in using a QR code.
