As of February 1, 2026, there are 346 enterprises with American capital operating in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee. Of these, 146 are joint ventures with local partners, and 200 are wholly foreign-owned companies.
Tashkent remains the leader in the number of such companies: 241 enterprises are registered in the capital. There are 33 companies operating in the Tashkent region, 21 in the Samarkand region, 8 in the Bukhara region, and in other regions their number varies from one to seven.
The activity of American business covers almost all regions of the country, including Kashkadarya, Navoi, Fergana and Jizzakh regions, as well as the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This growth indicates the continued interest of the United States in investment and industrial development in Uzbekistan.
