Uzbekistan is strengthening its position in the Afghan market for electrical products. The Uzelttehsanoat Association hosted a meeting with Afghan dealers and partners to discuss expanding exports and deepening business ties. Participants focused on increasing supplies, growing mutual trade, and strengthening cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
During the visit, the delegation was presented with the capabilities of the testing base, including the Eltechlab laboratory. Guests were shown the testing processes for cable and wire products and household appliances, which became an important factor in building confidence in the quality of Uzbek products and their competitiveness in foreign markets.
The dynamics of supplies demonstrate rapid growth: from approximately $1 million in 2024, exports increased to $6 million in 2025. A multiple increase in volumes is planned for 2026, which confirms the high demand and potential for further expansion. Meeting participants are confident that the current trend will significantly strengthen trade and economic cooperation and consolidate the position of Uzbek manufacturers in the region.
