In Uzbekistan, electronic submission of applications for replacement of damaged car license plates has become available through the unified portal my.gov.uz.
Now, the car owner only needs to log in to the system, select the appropriate number recovery service, fill out the online form and attach a photo of the damaged sign. After submitting the application, it is submitted to the authorized bodies for consideration, which generate an invoice for payment and send it to the user in digital form.
After payment, the procedure does not completely go online — the applicant needs to visit the specified territorial unit, hand over the old numbers and get new ones. The cost of the service is set at 4.5 times the basic calculation value for a set of two signs (1.854 million soums) or 2.25 BRV for one number (927 thousand soums). For faster processing of the application, it is recommended to upload clear and well-defined photos of the damaged license plate.
