In the first quarter of 2026, the inflow of money transfers to Uzbekistan reached $3.79 billion. According to the Central Bank, this is 13% or $433 million more than a year earlier ($3.36 billion), and compared with 2024 the growth is even more noticeable — at that time the volume amounted to $2.5 billion.
The month-by-month dynamics showed steady growth: in January and February, $1.23 billion was received each month, and in March — $1.33 billion. March became the peak month of the quarter. In annual terms, the March result increased by almost 10% compared with 2025 ($1.22 billion) and by 38% compared with 2024 ($963 million).
At the same time, the outflow of funds through international systems amounted to $604 million, decreasing by $39 million year-on-year. The regulator notes that the foreign currency supply was formed through exports, external borrowings by banks, transfers, and currency sales by the population. In 2025, the total volume of transfers reached $18.9 billion (+27.2%), with the main share coming from labor migrants in Europe and Asia.
