Gas Breakthrough for Uzbekistan's Energy Sector: ODK Showcases New Units

Equipment capable of accelerating the construction and modernization of the country's gas infrastructure was presented at the "Innoprom. Central Asia" exhibition

ODK (a Rostec subsidiary) presented the serial gas pumping unit UGPA-16(25), as well as industrial engines NK-14ST and AL-31ST. The equipment is designed for use in the development and modernization of Uzbekistan's gas transportation system. The main feature of UGPA is its modular design and compatibility with engines ranging from 12 to 32 MW without significant modifications, which simplifies implementation.

The unit is assembled from eight ready-made blocks, which significantly reduces the installation time for compressor stations and speeds up their commissioning. Also presented is the NK-14ST engine with a power of 8.5 MW, designed to increase station productivity, and the AL-31ST, already used in various climatic conditions, including hot regions.

ODK notes that such solutions allow for increasing the throughput of gas pipelines and improving supply stability. The equipment is already used in Russia and is now offered for projects in Uzbekistan, where demand for expanding energy infrastructure and increasing its efficiency is growing.
