A new simulator complex was solemnly installed at the Uzbekistan Airways Training Center. The simulator, manufactured by the Austrian company Diamond Aircraft Industries, allows cadets to practice controlling Diamond DA40 NG and Diamond DA42-VI aircraft in conditions as close to reality as possible. The equipment complies with the strict standards of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The new complex has become an important part of the modernization of the training base and will allow for a phased training system – from basic skills to complex maneuvers.
Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the airline's Board, emphasized that the introduction of modern technologies is a systemic effort to develop the industry with state support. During the event, certificates were also awarded to co-pilots who successfully completed training on the Boeing 767. Cadets undergo theoretical training in Tashkent, and 65 hours of practical flight time in Slovenia in cooperation with Egmont Aviation. After this, graduates will move on to the next stage – the MCC program on the Airbus A320 simulator.
The launch of the new simulator will significantly improve the quality of pilot training, enhance flight safety, and allow Uzbekistan Airways to confidently expand its fleet in the coming years.
