Starting June 1, 2026, updated tariffs for electricity and natural gas will come into force in Uzbekistan. The decision is enshrined in government decree No. 243 of May 15 and affects all categories of consumers – from household subscribers to enterprises.

For a number of groups, the cost of electricity will increase to 1,100 soums per kWh, while for the population, a tiered payment system will be maintained depending on the volume of consumption. The higher the consumption, the more expensive each subsequent range becomes – from 325 soums for minimum volumes to 1,100 soums for increased consumption levels. A similar principle applies to private homes, where tariffs are also differentiated by "tiers."

For natural gas, the base price is set at 2,000 soums per cubic meter, with separate rates provided for certain categories and filling stations. For the population, preferential limits are maintained during heating and off-season periods, after which an increased cost applies. The authorities simultaneously announce measures to reduce energy resource losses and improve the energy efficiency of the system.
