Negotiations were held in the Namangan region with the participation of the regional leadership and a delegation from the Chinese company LINYI LANSHAN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT GROUP from Linyi city, Shandong province.

The parties discussed the launch of a major investment project that could change the industrial landscape of the region.

The Chinese side proposed creating the "Kelajak" industrial zone covering an area of about 100 hectares, as well as a service center for foreign investors.

It is expected to help businesses interact with government agencies, support projects, and accelerate the entry of investments into the market.

The regional authorities expressed their readiness to provide the necessary conditions for the implementation of the initiative. The signing of a twinning agreement between the Namangan region and Linyi is also being discussed.

The visit of the Chinese city's mayor to the region is expected in September, and the project itself is seen as a potential driver for investment growth, employment, and exports.
