Negotiations involving Iranian Ambassador Muhammad Ali Iskandari took place in the Namangan region. The meeting was held as part of the 65th International Flower Festival and focused on expanding trade and economic ties between the regions of the two countries.
The parties discussed the development of cooperation in industry, fisheries, textile industry, pharmaceuticals, and the agricultural sector. Prospects for agricultural product supplies and establishing direct contacts between businesses in the Namangan region and the Iranian province of Gilan were also specifically considered.
Following the negotiations, the participants noted mutual interest in deepening regional partnership and agreed to continue working on practical projects, including expanding export opportunities for local producers.
