By 2030, Uzbekistan plans to increase aviation fuel production to 600,000 tons per year and expand storage capacity to 80,000 tons. This was announced at a presentation on the development of transport infrastructure, presented to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and aimed at improving the industry's efficiency.
Today, the total capacity of airport fuel complexes is about 49,000 tons. New storage facilities are planned to be built in Navoi, Andijan, Bukhara, Urgench, and in the future "New Tashkent" airport in the country.
The project includes the modernization of storage and refueling systems with a transition to international standards. In 2026, the digitalization of fuel complex management and enhanced control are planned, which will be part of the development of the aviation industry, logistics, and in the long term.
