In Uzbekistan, as part of the development of international economic ties, the Hokim of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, made a working trip to Japan. During the visit, a series of negotiations took place with representatives of major Japanese companies and financial organizations, where promising areas for investment and expansion of sectoral cooperation were discussed.
One of the key meetings was a discussion with Toyo Engineering Corporation, where possible projects in the oil and gas industry and related industries were considered, using the engineering and technological solutions of the Japanese partner. The company presented its experience in implementing large infrastructure and industrial facilities, including energy and petrochemicals.
A separate block of negotiations was dedicated to financial institutions and social initiatives. With JBIC and Mizuho Bank, Ltd., mechanisms for supporting joint projects and investments were discussed. With Proud Partners Co., Ltd., agreements were reached on preparing Fergana youth for work in modern professions and employment in Japan, as well as developing livestock projects. Additionally, new directions for joint investment initiatives were considered with Interactive Corporation.
