Texnopark and the Chinese manufacturer Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator have agreed to expand cooperation, including the possibility of localizing escalator production in Uzbekistan. The negotiations took place in Shanghai at the end of May 2026 and focused on developing industrial cooperation.
The parties considered the option of launching production at Texnopark, which is already the only enterprise in Central Asia producing escalators with a capacity of up to 500 units per year. Prospects for implementing modern elevator control technologies were also discussed.
Special attention was paid to Shanghai Mitsubishi's LNK system – an intelligent solution for monitoring and managing elevators using cloud technologies. Following the meeting, the companies confirmed their interest in deepening technological partnership and further developing joint projects.
