Mukhitdin Umidov, a student of the Tashkent branch of NRNU MEPhI, has joined the international youth advisory council under the Director General of the Rosatom State Corporation, IMPACT TEAM 2050.

The decision was made following elections held during the IV International Youth Nuclear Forum "Obninsk NEW" in Russia. The new council is formed from young nuclear industry specialists from various countries.

As part of his work in IMPACT TEAM 2050, the representative from Uzbekistan will participate in preparing initiatives for developing human resources, promoting the peaceful use of nuclear energy among youth, and strengthening international cooperation between young specialists and the corporation's management.

Commenting on his election, Mukhitdin Umidov noted that the development of nuclear energy opens new opportunities for young specialists and technological progress, and also forms the basis for a sustainable energy future.

He actively participates in educational and personnel projects in the nuclear energy sector, works in the energy audit and energy efficiency laboratory of the Tashkent branch of MEPhI, and is also involved in initiatives for training young specialists. Previously, he represented youth at public discussions of the nuclear power plant project in the Jizzakh region and participated in events related to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the nuclear field.
